Holiday Classic

Tacy played in the Heat 3v3 classic again this year.  I volunteered to coach.  We had fun planning the costumes.  The girls came up with the name "Sassy Snowflakes" and it seemed fitting.  Her teammates had a sleepover the night before so they could finish up their costumes and get ready together the next morning.  Truman also put a team together this year.  Jer coached them.  Unfortunately Truman sprained his ankle in the second game and was unable to play.  Prentice and her teammate Ava joined them in their last game and they pulled out a win.

Anders was pretty much the team mascot.

Truman played with Mason, Justin, and Max.

Truman's team ended up taking second.

Prentice's team ended up with first place.  She was happy to add another medal to her collection.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my parents. We brought the rolls and potatoes.

Anders thought there was a little to much commotion and new faces and really didn't want anyone else to hold him.

The kids had fun decorating their gingerbread houses.

We also got to spend time with Anton, Liz, and the girls.

Cardon and Prentice also got to play in the Dixie Invitational tournament that got moved to Mesquite because of weather.  It was Cardon't first tournament and although he played well in a year up they only won their last game.  Tacy's team also played a year up and won their first two games but lost their last game by one in the last few minutes.  Not the expected outcome but a fun weekend.

Growing Up

Baby Anders is sure growing and changing.  Why does it have to happen so fast.  Trying to soak it all up.  Love him so much.

Back to Exercising

When Anders was about 8 weeks I decided I was ready to start exercising again.  It has been so nice.  Most days I take him in the wrap and the dogs and go hiking.

This day was rainy so we skipped hiking and did the paved trail.  It was super wet but no one else was out and it was so pretty.

These two hanging out the window.  This same day Kona feel out of the window and was a little shocked to find herself in the road.  She does see a little more hesitant to hang so far out the window so maybe she learned something.

No matter how many spots we have in the house, these two seem to sit right next to each other.

Anders usually sleeps through most of our daily hikes.  I love holding hime, getting outside, and listening to a book.  It is definitely my happy place.  I've even gotten brave enough to take both dogs.  So grateful I can keep hiking living here in St. George.  And this time of year I don't have to worry about rattlesnakes!

Cutest dogs!

Leaves

We had a few windy days and decided to clean them up on a Saturday morning.  It's always a fun time for the kids.  The leaf blowers are a favorite.

These two were afraid of the blowers, so got banished to the truck to watch.
